The Statewide Public Pension Organization Network is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization. The purpose of SPPON is to organize local, state and national pension organizations along with corporations and industry professionals to establish an industry wide network that will assist SPPON with meeting its overall objectives.

• to protect, define and expand employee defined benefit plans.
• to support and also provide pension fund trustee education.
• to establish a “Public Pension Industry Think Tank,” along with a speaker database that will serve as an industry wide resource.
• to provide and distribute valuable industry information, reports, and studies to pension trustees across the country.
• to make available communication resources to all public pension trustees across the United States.
